Rufous-capped Warbler

Family: Wood Warblers (Parulidae)
Genus & Species : Basileuterus rufifrons
Status: Rare Mexican vagrant to southeastern Arizona, but has bred in Florida Canyon, French Joe Canyon, and Sycamore Canyon.
Habitat: Scrubby and brushy habitats close to oak woods, usually close to streams, often in canyons
Seen most recently at: Florida Canyon, AZ, recorded almost every week during the winter season of 2012-2013
Best Chances: Southeast Arizona in Florida Canyon, east of the well-known and popular Madera Canyon
